Sad News re: Bill Beebe

RABA members received the following sad news from secretary Janet Cramer earlier today:

This special notice is to inform our members of a sad event, the passing of our dear friend, Bill Beebe. Bill served our club in many ways, most recently as president and board member, and for several years as an instructor for our beginners classes. He was a dedicated and enthusiastic beekeeper, encouraging us all that we could be successful beekeepers and friends to the bees. The bees and the beekeeping community have lost a strong advocate. His positive outlook in all things, including a killer disease, is what I will remember best. I feel so lucky to have known him. Keep his family in your prayers.

Unfortunately, no one in the club was aware of Bill’s passing until this morning, and services will be held today at 1:00. His obituary and details of his service can be found at: www.bucyrustelegraphforum.com, under the obituaries tab.

Janet Cramer

R.I.P, Bill.  You will be missed.

  • Bill was the RABA president when Michelle and I started keeping bees and my brother was one of Bill’s many customers. Bill touched many lives and had a positive impact on area beekeepers. Sad news indeed, Janet. Will miss you, Bill.
