The Richland Area Beekeepers’ Association (RABA) is proud to announce the 2020 Basic Beekeeping Class schedule. Beekeeping education is one of our club’s primary objectives. If you have ever considered beekeeping, please download the class flyer using the “Download PDF” button below and join us!
Classes are about 1 hour long and start Tuesday, March 3, 2020 at 6:00 PM Eastern in the Richland County Longview Center building located at 1497 W Longview Ave, Mansfield OH. Students will:
- Learn basic beekeeping skills from veteran RABA members.
- Be given first choice to purchase their own honeybee packages at bulk RABA club rates.
- Participate in an optional, hands-on Field Day at a RABA member’s apiary.
- Receive guidance and support throughout their first beekeeping season.
Remember: Any current RABA member in good standing may also attend any or all of the classes at no charge.
